Rules
1. General Regulations:
The athletes undertake to respect the sporting regulations in force and for each event of the Challenge du Vallespir Sud Canigó 2020.
Failure to comply with the rules established by the organizer of each event will automatically result in the rider being downgraded for the event concerned.
2. Doping:
Any runner who has been the subject of a positive test during the year, will automatically be downgraded from the event and from the provisional or final classification of the Challenge Vallespir Sud Canigó 2020 and will not be able to take part in the other events of the Challenge Vallespir South Canigó 2021.
3. Number of events:
The Challenge Vallespir Sud Canigó brings together 6 events: 5 classics + 1 final.
All athletes who are classified in at least 1 event + final will be able to claim to be classified in the Challenge Vallespir Sud Canigó 2020.
All the results will be counted for the final classification of the challenge.
5. Calendar:
The events of the Challenge Vallespir Sud Canigó 2019 are:
1: 11 April: Trail du Belmaig (Arles sur Tech)
2: 31 May: Vallespir Skyrace (Amélie les Bains)
3: 11 June: Cami Ramader loop (Lamanère)
July 4: 26: Trail du Mont Capell (St Laurent de Cerdans)
September 5: 6: Col d'Ares Trail (Prats de Mollo la Preste)
November 6: 7: Vertical Kilometer of Belmaig (Arles sur Tech) [Final]
6. Distribution of points:
-The first 48 male athletes and the first 24 female athletes in each event will be awarded the following points. (Cf: table)
-The distribution of points will be done differently between men and women given the difference in M / F participation observed over the last two years on the challenge.
-The points of all participants of the final will benefit from a 20% premium.
- In the event that the general participation in an event does not exceed 80 riders included, the points for all classified will be divided by 2 for all participants
In the event of a final tie, the athletes will be decided:
-1: by their best place in the final of the Challenge Vallespir Sud Canigó 2020.
-2: by their best place in a round of the Challenge Vallespir Sud Canigó 2020.
-3: by their date of birth (the youngest will get the best place)
7. Endowment of the final classification:
-The 5th and 5th of the 2 individual categories (men's scratch, women's scratch) of the final classification, at the end of the six events, will receive the following endowments:

-The 1st of the following categories will receive an endowment (Not cumulative with the Scratch endowments) The challenge ranking will not take into account the change of category on November 1st:

-All participants in the Final of the Challenge Vallespir Sud Canigó 2020 will receive a technical textile prize.
!!! NB !!! : Registration for the final will be possible subject to availability.
The athletes classified in the Challenge Vallespir Sud Canigó 2020 will have priority for this registration.
It is imperative that the classified are present on the final podium in order to receive their reward.

9. Photo, TV, Video and Rights Coverage:
Any competitor expressly waives the right to image during the Challenge Vallespir Sud Canigó 2020, as he waives any recourse against the organizer and his approved partners for the use made of his image.
